Warranty Policy

Overview

All products supplied by Space Sheds are backed by a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise specified. Selected products may carry extended warranties of up to 10 years—please refer to individual product details for confirmation.

Space Sheds will, at its discretion, repair or replace any product deemed defective within the applicable warranty period. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, negligence, lack of maintenance, or any unauthorised repairs or modifications. Additional limitations may apply for commercial or non-standard applications.

Warranty Registration

To validate your warranty, customers must retain proof of purchase for the full duration of the warranty period.

For any future claim, you may be required to provide:

• 
  One (1) photo of the fully assembled product
  
• 
  One (1) photo showing the product installed on a level, stable foundation
  
• 
  One (1) photo clearly demonstrating how the product is securely anchored
  

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims must be submitted to and approved by a Space Sheds representative prior to any action being taken.

Where repair is required, the product (or relevant component) may need to be returned to an authorised service agent. Space Sheds will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace the item within an appropriate timeframe.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• 
  Freight and transportation costs are the responsibility of the customer
  
• 
  Warranty does not cover consumables, normal wear and tear, or cosmetic deterioration
  

Terms & Conditions

• 
  Any freight damage or missing components must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
  
• 
  Customised products are covered under a limited warranty for manufacturing defects only
  
• 
  Products must be used strictly for their intended purpose
  
• 
  Any modification to the original product will void the warranty
  
• 
  Steel products are not suitable for installation within 1000m of coastal areas, or in environments exposed to corrosive or industrial emissions
  
• 
  Installation instructions must be read and followed in full prior to assembly
  
• 
  All components must be checked against the parts list before installation
  

Additional Conditions – Structural Products

• 
  Installation must be completed on a level and stable surface
  
• 
  All components must be present prior to commencing assembly
  
• 
  Structures must be securely anchored at all times, including during installation
  
• 
  Not recommended for use outside Region A – CAT 3.0 wind classifications
  
• 
  Installation must not be undertaken in unsafe weather conditions (e.g. high winds, rain)
  
• 
  Roof structures are not designed to support body weight
  

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• 
  Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, incorrect assembly, or impact/collision
  
• 
  Damage resulting from environmental factors, including severe weather, natural events, or corrosion-prone conditions
  
• 
  General wear and tear or lack of proper maintenance
  

To maintain warranty eligibility, products must be properly maintained and used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Space Sheds reserves the right to assess all claims and may decline coverage where improper use or insufficient maintenance is identified.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute relating to warranty terms or coverage, Space Sheds reserves the right to interpret and apply these terms at its sole discretion, and to determine the appropriate resolution.
